10 Months – How time flies!
Sorry that my posts here have gotten so sporadic — I’ll still do my monthly updates, new products or milestones – but for the most part, life is great. Still haven’t had anything get stuck, only 1 dumping episide and that was way back in the first month so I still avoid too much sugar, although I’ve had a little pieces of cake for birthdays with no issue. Nothing seems to bother me and everything tastes so much better. Looking forward to my 1 year surgiversary!
OH! I forgot to mention — in the picture above, I am wearing an OLD bridesmaid dress that I wore in the early 80′s — before I gained most of my weight – and the dress is actually a little too big. Was sure fun finding it though and being able to put it on again for a laugh.
Quick overview as of Feb 24:
- Lost 95 pounds
- 85.5″ inches smaller from neck to ankle
- Size Lg/Med tops
- Size 10 jeans – not tight!

Mary,
I have been missing your frequent posts, but am glad to see everything is going great. You look awesome! I am closing in on 6 months post op, and it has been helpful to follow your journey and see where I may be ending up! Keep the helpful hints coming…Here’s one you may already know…I have found that Dunn Brothers coffee shops (in the Twin Cities) will sell the Tofrani syrup they stock. They have SF almond (and amy other great flavors), which I was unable to find anywhere else. No shipping! Take Care!
